What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is basically a tool to facilitate change and is completely client centred. The conscious mind, with its anxious or analytical thoughts, is bypassed. It is the conscious mind which can often hinder the success of other forms of psychological work such as counselling or psychotherapy. Beneficial results are often achieved faster than with other therapies. Hypnotherapy makes use of positive suggestion and imagery to change the things YOU want to change. Only positive suggestions can be accepted by you that are in harmony with your values and beliefs.
